Joey's Weekly Tangle Challenge #90

My first JWTC!  Joey (of madebyjoey.blogspot.com) is providing holiday themed strings for the month of December.  This week's string was two ornaments.  Tangles include Bala by Damy Teng and Pixioze by Margaret Bremmer.

Diva Challenge #247

This month's UseMyTangle challenge is "African Artist" by Tina-Akua Hunziker.  I found this tangle to be quite difficult, but also very forgiving.  While this doesn't really look much like the original, I can't say I mind the end result.

"Angels we have heard on high, sweetly singing o'er the plain ..."  What a night the shepherds had!

Diva Challenge 246

I've wanted to try tangling a tree shape for quite a while, but just hadn't done it.  So, this challenge by guest blogger Dilip Patel to tangle a tree using one pattern was the perfect opportunity.  The tangle pattern was Nipa.  The paper color was actually tan, so the photo is a little disappointing.

Every Inchie Monday: Tea

Tea.  In my world, every day begins with a mug of tea.  Irish Breakfast.  Strong black tea with milk.  At this very moment I'm enjoying a cup of Rooibus - a great alternative to herbal teas (that can tend to be a little "weak" in the flavor department).

Diva Challenge #245

We went back to basics this week by tangling the pattern Hollibaugh.  I'm always amazed by the difference that shading makes.  It adds life.

Diva Challenge #244

The challenge this week was to use Tripoli.  I'm one of those who has found this tangle to be a bit difficult.  Not a great rendering, but I'll try again ... another day.
